A Change of Mind
K. Ronald Hughes

5.25 x 8 - 208 Pages

Why read this book?

The aim of this book is to show you how to make better decisions. In doing so, this book is unique because, unlike other authors, I do not tell you what your thoughts or decisions should be. Instead, I teach you...

...who controls your thoughts when you don't;

...what role your mind plays in decision making;

...when a problem is not really a problem;

...why a single belief is the source of many bad decisions;

...where creative thought originates;

...how you change who you are.

The Author

Ron Hughes is retired after spending thirty-three years as a high school classroom teacher. His observation of thousands of students and the common self-defeating thought patterns exhibited by many led to the development of the theory presented here. Ron was co-author of a textbook that was published by his employer and used in numerous Ontario classrooms. This book emphasized the importance of action as a means of circumventing the mental blocks to learning.
Besides writing, Ron likes crocheting, jogging, doing home renovations, computer programming, playing with the grandchildren, travelling, building Inuksuk, playing poker, collecting shark teeth, and watching the Montreal Canadiens. To celebrate their fortieth anniversary, Ron and his wife Sharon recently trained for and ran a marathon together.
