Alphie Bates has a special way of dealing with the rude yet colourful figures called the “Number Nine Clan.” Although this number gang tries to bully Alphie, he responds by telling brief stories. Some are sad, some scary, but each carries a thoughtful message. As a result, new friends are made and new adventures are begun.
